Man sought after assault on TTC operators, passenger

March incidents at Lawrence Station and in Dufferin-Wilson area

A man is wanted by police after assaults that occurred on March 12 and March 16.

Police say on March 12 a man boarded an out of service bus at Lawrence station and assaulted the TTC driver after being told he may be on the wrong bus.

Later that week, on March 16, at Dufferin Street and Wilson Avenue the same man entered an out of service bus and assaulted the driver ,according to Toronto Police reports.

Shortly after, he allegedly entered another bus in the vicinity and assaulted a passenger.

The man is described as 5-foot-11 and about 170 lbs. According to police reports, he was wearing a black vest, a red or black hooded top, light blue jeans, white shoes, sunglasses, a black backpack, and gloves with a white design.

Police are asking the public for help to identify the suspect.
