A Toronto police officer has minor injuries after crashing into an East York bus shelter on Sunday morning.

The crash happened around 9:15 a.m. at the Woodbine and O’Connor avenue intersection. The bus shelter was demolished completely in the crash.

The officer who is in his 30s was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. The roads remained opened after the incident.

The bus stop has been relocated one pole west as broken glass remains around the bus shelter.
