As September arrives, the kids go back to school, and some get called to the majors.

Left-hander Anthony Kay, the No. 5 prospect in the Blue Jays’ system, has been called-up and is expected to make his debut Saturday or Sunday against the Tampa Bay Rays. As September arrives the kids go back to school, and some young players are called to Major League Baseball as rosters can expand up to 40.

Toronto Blue Jays decided to introduce fans to some of their pro-ready pitching prospects. 

T. J. Zeuch who threw a no-hitter with the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons just two weeks ago made his Major League debut Tuesday.

Anthony Kay, who was acquired in the Marcus Stroman trade, is expected to start Saturday or Sunday after a 2.96 ERA this season through three minor league clubs. 

Nate Pearson, the Blue Jays top pitching prospect, was not called-up.
