BREAKING: Katarina Roxon captures her first medal at the world-para swims with Americas Record

LONDON —  Katarina Roxon claimed a silver medal in the 100-metre SB8 breaststroke at the World Para Swimming Championships in London, setting the new Americas Record.

The 26-year-old and gold medalist from Rio broke her own national record and set the Americas one with a time of 1:21.96 to win her first world championship medal at the London Aquatics Centre.
