Mayoral candidate running for keeps

Demonstration ends in eastern Ontario, VIA Rail service resumes

VIA Rail says its service has returned to normal after a protest calling for a national inquiry into missing and murdered aboriginal women was peacefully dispersed by police. The demonstration was held near the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory in Marysville, Ont., between Belleville and Kingston.

Fewer than half of Canadian businesses online

Looking for a Canadian business online? Finding it might be tough, especially if it’s small. That’s according to the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) 2014 Factbook, which says only 45.5 per cent of Canadian businesses have a website. It’s even fewer when it comes to small businesses: 41 per cent of them are online.
