Youths arrested in failed armed robbery

Four teenage boys have been arrested and taken to Toronto Police’s 55 Division after shots were fired in an East York apartment building Tuesday. The arrest took place in the Coxwell Avenue and Gerrard Street area, where the police’s emergency task force surrounded an apartment complex, taking the suspects into custody shortly after 3:00 p.m.

Memorial marks suffering of the homeless

If the cold doesn’t kill Bruce Matinat, loneliness will. The 33-year-old has lived on the streets for over 20 years but now he feels the community around him crumbling. “I’m dying because I’m running out of brothers. They’re not looking after me,” he said.
