2011-12 NHL Preview: Northwest Division

After a disappointing Game 7 loss to the Boston Bruins in last year’s cup final, the organization went in to the off-season with the ‘if it ain’t broke, why fix it’ mentality. NHL preview: Northwest Division

The Vancouver Canucks won the Northwest Division last season, and remain the favourites to repeat this season. The balance of power in the division is not likely to change, with only Calgary making significant changes.
