Arrows win sixth MLR game in row, beating Glendale Raptors 40-12

The Toronto Arrows came back strong after a bye week to win their sixth game in a row when they beat the Glendale Raptors 40-12 at Lamport Stadium on Sunday.

The Glendale Raptors (7-6-2) were one of the best teams in Major League Rugby last season but after a loss to Toronto the Arrows (10-5-0) with 53 points have now proved that they are worthy of their third-place position in the MLR.

The Toronto Arrows have now won their last five games after beating Utah Warriors 28-21 with Spencer Jones’ winning try at Lamport stadium on Sunday.In the latter part of the second half both teams were tied 21-21 until the 76th minute when Jones gained possession of the ball, broke through Utah’s defensive line and dotted the ball down in Utah’s try zone.Arrows now at (9-5-0) are third in the league with 48 points, keeping them in the fight for a playoff spot.
