Shron, of Thornhill, Ont., is the owner of Rapido Trains Inc., a model train manufacturing company. He is famously known as the Guy with the Train in his Basement, but it was his father, Van Shron, who started his obsession.

Demonstration ends in eastern Ontario, VIA Rail service resumes
VIA Rail says its service has returned to normal after a protest calling for a national inquiry into missing and murdered aboriginal women was peacefully dispersed by police. The demonstration was held near the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory in Marysville, Ont., between Belleville and Kingston.
