For the past month, journalism students from Centennial College’s Entrepreneurial Reporting course pursued multimedia stories in anticipation of Toronto’s 2023 byelection for mayor.

As young people ourselves, we highlighted some of the key issues faced by young Torontonians today — from housing affordability to transit safety and fair representation in municipal politics — and investigated lesser-known stories, like satirical campaigns and canine candidates.
