Beginning on March 15, the CIBC branch on Morningside will open from noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
Thirty other branches across the country also extended their hours.
CIBC decided to offer full service on Sundays because many Canadians go shopping on that day, said Christina Kramer, executive vice-president of retail markets.
The bank plans to do the same with the other branches by the end of 2009.
