Teen hit by car on Kinston Road, rushed to hospital

A 15-year-old boy was rushed to Sick Kids Hospital with critical head injuries after he was struck by a car in Scarborough on Wednesday afternoon, police say.

The accident occurred on Kingston Road near Brimley Road at around 2:45 p.m.

The driver remained on the scene and charges have not been laid, police say.

TTC bus routes were diverted due to the collision investigation.
