The East York Observer

The East York Observer first hit the streets of East York more than 40 years ago.

“Centennial College started the Observer in 1972 as a student ‘laboratory’ for the first college journalism program in the province — and as outreach to the community around the college,” reads an editor’s note marking the paper’s 40th anniversary in the Dec. 7, 2012, issue.
