New art barn at Dawes Road ‘confusing’: residents

At the corner of Dawes Road and Victoria Park Avenue, a nearly completed barn-like structure stands at the centre of a small island of grass.

The structure, installed under the city of Toronto’s public art program, pays homage to the older days of the area when this corner of East York was all farm land, not a busy urban intersection.





U of T sex ‘orgy’ attracts hundreds

“No-judgment” hot chocolate was the (literally) warm welcome students received upon arriving at downtown Toronto’s Oasis Aqua Lounge on Monday. The University of Toronto’s sex awareness event started at 12 noon, bringing in thirty to forty students early in the day and eventually capping it off at approximately 180 people.
