Police look for summer job applicants

Published on

Police have begun accepting applications for summer employment opportunities as a part of this year’s Youth in Police initiative.

The program, which targets youth from areas including Scarborough Village and Malvern, aims to help young people facing significant challenges to achieve success in life. Applicants must be 14 to 17 years old, legally able to work in Canada, and permanent residents or Canadian citizens. They must also have a clean criminal record.

The program accepts 100 applicants per year and application packages can be picked up until Feb. 25 at police divisions across the city. Click here for the list of divisions.

An information session is to be held on Feb. 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. at 43 Division, 4331 Lawrence Ave. E.
