The drug squad found 2,674 marijuana plants worth $2.5 million while executing a search warrant.

The grow-op was located above the maintenance/boiler room area near the top of the McCowan Road and Highway 401 highrise, police said.

Along with the plants, police removed hydroponic equipment, including soil, heaters and lamps.

Police remain on the lookout for suspects and are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
