Murder suspect arrested in court

Published on

A 20-year-old Toronto man remains in police custody on second degree murder charges, for the beating death of a North York woman. Police discovered the body of Linda Thomas, 60, in her Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue condo earlier this month. Thomas had died from blunt force trauma.  Police arrested Anthony Yim on Tuesday while he was in court on other charges. Yim lived in the same building as Thomas, and it is alleged he was “verbally aggressive” to a number of other tenants in the condominium. Yim will appear in court again on April 4.
