Sexual assault on Rouge Hill Go train

Published on

According to police, there may be more victims following the Feb. 13 arrest of a Whitby man accused of sexually assaulting a minor on a GO train.

Police say the suspect took photos of a 15-year-old girl on the Lakeshore East GO Line and sexually assaulted her as the train neared Rouge Hill GO station at 4 p.m. on Feb. 6.

The girl exited the train where it’s believed she was briefly followed before the suspect fled the scene.

Police are looking for anyone with information relating to the assault as there may be more victims, says Constable Wendy Drummond.

Police say Christopher Fraser, 27, of Whitby, was arrested following the release of security camera images of the suspect to the public.

He appeared in court Feb. 14, facing charges of criminal harassment, indecent acts, sexual assault, voyeurism and obtaining transportation by fraud.

Police are requesting anyone with information to call the police at 416-808-7474 or Toronto Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS.
