Cyclist survives collision with vehicle in East York

Police say a woman on a bicycle escapes death after she crashed into a car on Millwood Road

A cyclist spent Thursday morning in hospital after colliding with a car on Millwood Road in Toronto.

Officers at the scene said the cyclist made a left turn while riding north on Millwood Road approaching Laird Drive. The cyclist struck the passenger side of the car causing damage to the passenger side door and windshield.

Officers said the cyclist, a female in her 20s, has non-life threatening injuries.
