The body was found shortly before 8 a.m at Alvin Curling Public School’s parking lot at Antelope Drive and Upper Rouge Trail.

Police on the scene say the man was found with apparent gunshot wounds and without vital signs.

Originally homicide investigators called the victims death suspicious, but are now investigating it as a homicide.

Det. Gary Giroux said no further details of the suspects are known.

“We are in the early stages of this investigation,” Giroux said. “The deceased appears to have suffered some gunshot wounds. I am appealing to this particular community to alert them of any video they may have attached to their houses, so we can collect that.”

Police say an autopsy of the victim took place on Friday.

Greenaway’s murder is Toronto’s 12th homicide this year.
