Can’t decide what to do this year for Halloween? Here are five Halloween events happening in Toronto this week.
1. Canada’s Wonderland Halloween Haunt
What? Every year in October, Canada’s Wonderland arranges a scary maze for Torontonians to enjoy. Ten mazes are offered at the amusement park thsi year: Blood Shed, Skeleton Key (Club Blood, Cornstalkers, Louisiana Screams, Streets of The Undead, & Terror of London,) Sci-Fi House, Spirit Manor, The Asylum and The Ruins. Recommended for ages 13 and up.

Price? $33.99, passholders $22.99. All mazes included.

2. “Nosferatu” and “The Satanic Rites of Dracula”
What? Starting at 7 p.m., there will be a screening of “Nosferatu,” F.W. Murnau’s 1922 hit silent film. Then, at 9 p.m. you will see Alan’s Gibson’s famous film “The Satanic Rites of Dracula.” Both films are presented uncut and uncensored. Viewer discretion is advised.

3. Boo at the Zoo!
What? The Toronto Zoo hosts the “Critters and Costumes Halloween Parade.” There will be two parades (11:40 a.m. and 2:40 p.m.). Kids meet many characters like Doh-Doh, Jess the Cat, Equestria Girls, My Little Pony, and Olivia The Piglet. There will be a Play-Doh Activity Tent located next to the Courtyard Stage where kids can make their own animal creations.

4. Pumpkin Parade at Sourauren Park
What? This event doesn’t happen specifically on Halloween Day but it’s still a big hit every year. On Nov. 1, the day after Halloween, over 2,000 pumpkins are placed on the pathway of the park with a leading theme. Many love seeing the different designs carved into these pumpkins.

5. Zombie Prom
What? Celebrate Halloween in style at Toronto’s very own Zombie Prom. There will be free zombie makeup and free glam photo shoots. You can win prizes and enter give-aways. There will be a bar and appetizers. For ages 19 and up. Halloween dress code is mandatory.
