The Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Montreal Canadiens 3-0 on Wednesday night with what is expected to be their opening night lineup.

In what has been an eventful training camp on and off the ice, Toronto set aside ongoing discussions surrounding the team to showcase what its roster is capable of this season. All four forward lines were clicking and had the support of their three defensive pairs behind them.

Expectations are high for a team that hasn’t made it out of the first round of the playoffs for three consecutive seasons with its current core group. It’s Stanley Cup or bust for the salary cap-strapped Leafs.

Marcus Rebelo is joined by Jonathan Chan and Thomas Williams to discuss the game, where Maple Leafs’ bubble players currently stand, and how the Montreal Canadiens fared against an NHL-calibre lineup.
